About Matthew

My name is Matthew Manuel and I am a Webaholic. I am a web developer at United Fire Group in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I have been developing web pages as a career since 2001. I am happily married to a kindergarten teacher named Sara and I have two little dogs at home, Sadie and Lexi.

I have a BA in Graphic Design and my AA is in CIS.  I prefer open source technology though I love what Office 2007 has to offer and I wouldn’t trade my Adobe Creative Suite for a kidney if I lost one in an overly aggressive game of racquetball (yes, I play racquetball). I lift weights and I also play guitar in a band called Maru.
